Blackened Seasoning (Blackening Seasoning)

Blackened (Blackening) Seasoning

Tips

It remains fresh for a few weeks and slowly loses its potency after that but remains perfectly usable. It stays fresh longer stored out of light as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs Smoked Paprika
  • 2 ½ t Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1 t Onion Powder
  • 1 t Garlic Powder
  • 1 t Cayenne
  • 1 t White Pepper
  • 1 t Fresh Ground black pepper
  • ½ t Dried Thyme
  • ½ t Dried Oregano
  • ½ t Rosemary
  • 1 t Lemon – Lime Pepper (if seafood I sub that for black pepper)
  • 1 t Old Bay Seasoning

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
